BACKGROUND
A mental health charity who provides information and support to those who need it and believe anyone with mental health issues should be treated fairly, positively and with respect.

BRIEF
Britain is
one of the most depressed countries in the world. Bring a smile to the nations face.

IDEA
Encouraging smiling as a remedy to the nation’s sadness, by focusing on the majority to help effect the rest of the country. Public sector workers have a huge reach into the nation, so I thought it’d be best to help these people feel appreciated.
RATIONALE
The current trend/ our inspiration:
#100DaysOfHappy
Pharrell Williams, 24 Hours of Happy
‘Giving Flowers to Moms’
There’s a small niche for this idea, which has succeeded in its aim. Nonetheless, being in a team based on positivity, who try and make the most out of situations; a campaign that makes people happy is always worth doing. With plans to send the campaign to local and national governments, in hopes to encourage them ‘Make Britain Happy’.

With the #smilesyndrome the campaign will encourage people to share who they appreciate and why.
